Below is everything that runs on a loop in my head as of late. First order of business: a picnic in the Heath. This comes from checking off the summer bucket list. I can confirm, London is enchanting and will be totally mesmerizing when the sun is out. For those of you who moved here in the winter, you made it!
my picnic contribution: home made pesto Caprese salad bites with my fresh basil plant, this bottle of Oyster Bay Sav Blanc, and some fun Australian crackers I found at a local shop.
Here’s a couple pics of London luring me in, forever begging me to stay!!

onto other current obsessions:
Gingham — Specifically, but not exclusively, this top!

Savory eats on Pinterest — With the changing of the seasons (at least for London) here’s some of my current obsession meals and snacks as seen on my Pinterest.

Yes, I will be trying each and every one of these at the appropriate time. The top two dishes easiest for weekday dinners, the labneh dip for another picnic in the Heath, and the steak with a chimichurri and sweet potato mash during the breaking point of my hormonal cycle.
J. Sheekey — Already featured in one of my previous city guides, I can’t stop recommending it to my friends so here I am shamelessly repeating myself to you! It’s so good. The service, the ambiance, and the mix of both classics and modernized features on their menu… It’s an easy yes for a special dinner out.
All that is new with Mackenzie Childs— When I tell you I gasped…It’s so sweet!

The Megan Stokes collection sings to me. It’s laced with all the southern charm you could ask for. It looks like something your grandkids will appreciate and you can appreciate now. Lucky for all of us, Mackenzie Childs is having a sale. A good one!! You can find my favorites from the sale here. Doesn’t hurt to look!!
ThisWorks Sleep Spray— I have been happy buying this again and again. It lasts about 6 months and always creates the spa experience I crave. It helps when I travel as well because I’ll bring my pillow case and the mini version of this sleep spray and it’s everything I need to feel right at home when I’m somewhere else. What I’m saying is, I can’t live without it. If you too want to become completely dependent on a bougie little sleep spray for your incredible quality of sleep and good mood, you can find it here.
Herbarium candle collection by Brooklyn Candle Co.— This entire collection! The smell of this collection is less *fresh laundry* and more *Oprah’s herb garden*… in love! Shop here.

The *new* Belmond train routes— Are you kidding me? It’s a dream come true. The Belmond trains are luxe. The interior design does wonders for the intimate spaces.

With two new destinations of Cornwall and the Lake District (both on my England travel bucket list), there’s yoga, wine tastings, serene sailing trips, paddle boarding, and other water sports. All this followed by a massage in the wellness suite? Like I said, dream!!

Educated by Tara Westover— This book has soared to my All Time Favorites list. It’s a show of adversity, strength, gaining and regaining sense of self, and a lot about love. It gripped me from the first few pages. If you haven’t read it yet, I highly recommend Educated by Tara Westover as your next read.
**Event closed — This book is one of the books I chose for the Summer Reading List. If you’re London based we will be discussing this book in our upcoming book club meet up! Tickets are £22pp. Join us by purchasing your early access (paid subs only) ticket below.
Thanks for reading. Until next time,
Katie
